Nefertiti Neck Lift

About the treatment

The Nefertiti lift is named after the Queen of Egypt Nefertiti, who lived during the 14th Century BC and was famous for her beauty, and striking and elegant jawline.

The main aim of this treatment is to rejuvenate the appearance of the jawline and neck, and is can be administered singly, or in conjunction with other therapies. The focus of this treatment is to target the platysma muscle, which is a large thin piece of muscle extending from the neck up into the lower part of the lower face. By relaxing the platysma, the neck appears tighter, the overlying skin appear smoother, and more lifted.

It is a non-invasive, effective, and convenient treatment for patients seeking a way to achieve mini-lift at the boundary between the jawline and the neck.

Nerfertiti treatment relaxes the platysma muscle, which in turn makes the neck appear tigher, overlying skin appear smoother and more lifted.

Am I a good candidate for Nefertiti Lift?

This treatment is generally suitable for patients with mild sagging and skin laxity along the jawline extending to the neck.

Ideally the patients should not have any concurrent skin infection on the intended treatment areas nor be taking medications like blood thinners and anticoagulants. Patients interested in the Nefertiti lift should also have practical expectations on the results of aesthetic treatments, and also understand the other factors in determining the attractiveness of the jawline.

Why should I do it with The Ogee Clinic?

Though relatively safe, the Nefertiti lift is a procedure that is easy to do poorly. An individual should select a qualified, experienced doctor to perform the procedure, and the treatment should be carried out in a licensed clinic where the environment is sterile and privacy is ensured.

A good injector has to evaluate a patient correctly to ensure that their jawline and platysma muscle characteristics are a suitable fit for the treatment. Dr Heng has a wealth of experience in such aesthetic injectable treatment and always strives to achieve natural-looking results in the most comfortable way.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

An anesthetic cream is applied prior to the treatment and for sensitive patients, additional oral pain modulators may be given. Generally, the procedure only causes minimal discomfort to no pain.

The procedure will include a preparation phase where our staff will apply an anesthetic cream on the intended treatment areas, and leave it on for around 45 minutes for it to be adequately absorbed. The main injection procedure after preparation is quite fast, and is administered within a 15-20 minutes timeframe.

You will be given a set of post-care instructions after the treatment. Generally, these include:

  • Avoid rubbing and massaging the treated areas
  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours after the procedure
  • Avoid rigorous exercise for 24 hours after the procedure

This procedure benefits patients who has mild to moderate sagginess along the jawline, and results in a more elegant jawline and tighter skin around the neck.

With one treatment session, you will be able to see a more lifted jawline. Like many aesthetic treatments, the result brought upon by the Nefertiti lift is not permanent. However, it is long lasting and satisfied patients usually return for repeat treatments to maintain the effect. We recommend at least 3 sessions per year for maintenance of result, depending on the individual’s needs.
